OCCUPATION: COUNCIL MEMBER
Your voice on the City Council for:
IMPROVING TRAFFIC SAFETY; VOTING NO ON NEW TAXES; PRESERVING THE INTEGRITY OF OUR NEIGHBORHOODS
In the six months since you elected me to council, I already have delivered on several promises I made to you during the campaign. Progress is being made, and progress will continue.
I asked for reports to be presented to council regarding pedestrian and cyclist safety, our pension obligations and mitigation of traffic congestion. I will continue to focus on these concerns.
I oppose raising utility rates and imposing new taxes on our residents, and voted NO on the water rate increase and proposed parking tax.
Preserving the integrity of our neighborhoods is a priority, and that is why I voted NO on the demolition of a historic residence and on residential and mixed-use projects that were incompatible with neighborhoods.
After listening to community concerns, I support the Council addressing possible incentive reductions to control future Downtown development.
As your Council member, I will continue working to ensure Glendale is a safe, healthy and exceptional place to live. For me to accomplish this,
I ASK THAT YOU MAKE YOUR VOTE DEVINE.
